This is a wonderful time of year in Colorado (especially when the weather decides to cooperate *cough cough*). There are so many great activities happening around you, so we wanted to get a list together of some of the big highlights that come highly recommended. We humbly present; Springs Summit Group's Holiday Musts!

1. SKATE IN THE PARK

Enjoy a 4,675 square-foot, real ice rink, located on the west side of Acacia Park. The rink is a collaborative effort between the City of Colorado Springs Parks, Recreation, & Cultural Services and Downtown Colorado Springs.

Dates: November 14, 2017 - January 15, 2018
Time: Varies depending on the day.
Cost: $10 includes skates; Under 4 years old FREE with paying adult

2. VICTORIAN CHRISTMAS

Enjoy the wonders of a true Victorian holiday experience! Miramont Castle is lavishly decorated, homemade refreshments abound, and there is delightful entertainment for your pleasure.

Dates: November 24 - 26, 2017
Time:  10 am - 4 pm
Cost:   $12 Adults, $11 Seniors, $7 Children

3. CHEYENNE MOUNTAIN ZOO’S ELECTRIC SAFARI

‘Tis the season for lights, animals and holiday spirit at America's only mountain zoo. Take in nearly one million sparkling lights illuminating the crisp winter night, warm up at one of the fires throughout the Zoo, then stop in and see Santa (through Dec. 23).

Dates: December 8 - 10, 15 - 23, 25, 2017 - January 1, 2018
Time: 5:30-8:30pm (last admission sold at 7:30pm)
Cost:

•  Adults - $9.75
• Seniors (65+) - $8.75
• Children (3 - 11) - $6.75 children
• Children under 2 - $0.75

4. WINTER LIGHTS AT THE BROADMOOR SEVEN FALLS

On Saturday, November 18, the much-loved, multi-colored display returns for the holiday season as Seven Falls celebrates the 3rd Annual Winter Lights event.The Broadmoor Seven Falls lights up the entire canyon with more than 100,000 individual white lights on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. 

Dates: November 18, 2017 - February 25, 2018
Cost: Activities are free with park admission

5. PHOTOS WITH SANTA AT THE CHAPEL HILLS MALL

Don't let this opportunity pass you by to let Santa know what you want for Christmas. Santa will be waiting for you at the lower level center court

When: 

• November 11 - December 15: Monday - Saturday: 10 am - 8 pm, Sunday: 11 am - 6 pm
• December 16 - December 22: Monday - Saturday 10 am - 9 pm, Sunday: 11 am - 7 pm
• December 23: 9 am - 9 pm
• December 24: 9 am - 6 pm
